We held our fourth Zoom networking event of 2021 with a joint Phoenix - Southern Arizona Sister Society call on Thursday, October 28, 2021.  The call was facilitated by Karen Bejarano (VP - Arizona Branch Operations) and Sarah Hancotte (VP of Strategy) both with TruWest Credit Union, and Leah Friedenberg (SVP of Operations) with Pima Federal Credit Union.  In terms of community support, the team heard from Leslie Croy, Stewardship Manager with Maggie's Place, about her organization's efforts to provide resources pregnant women in the community and how we can help.  Additionally, Dr. Dan Santangelo, SVP of Association Services and Executive Director of MWCUA Foundation, discussed professional development opportunities and the exciting CUs for Hunger Relief Initiative.  Finally, Sarah Marshall, founder and principal of Profound Hope Industries, led a discussion on authenticity in leadership.  All 34 attendees benefitted greatly from the content, enthusiasm, and networking and look forward to future opportunities to meet in-person.
