Thanks, Sarah for giving us these words of wisdom.  At our Sister Society meeting in New York / New Jersey, we discussed the role of mentors and the importance of seeking out people who can help us at different stages in our professional (and personal) development.  I believe that is true - we must be more assertive in our search to learn or to take the next step in our career.  Growth shouldn't be a passive event - we have to go after it.  Thoughts?  -Sue Mitchell
